PRESENTING SUPERB RESEARCH THAT ADVANCES THE FIELD OF EDUCATION
HBCU-FDN Faculty Development Network Series in HBCU Education
Edited by Donald Collins and Laurette B. Foster
The HBCU Faculty Development Network Book Series focuses on high-quality scholarship topics experienced by faculty, staff, students, and administrators at HBCUs and other institutions identified as minority serving. In particular, these topics will focus on the delivery of inclusive and holistic education that will impact student success. The goals of the series are aligned with the mission of the HBCU Faculty Development Network to highlight and record its rich legacy. Anticipated authors will represent disciplines across the academic landscape, including but not limited to the STEM areas, humanities, education, reading, and academic and student support services. As these institutions are increasing the focus on research and publications, the book series will provide a publishing outlet that allows academic and professional staff to document their contributions to teaching, research, and service as it relates to their institutions, student engagement, and their place in a global world. The HBCU Faculty Development Network Book Series will also seek and support submissions including racial equity, politics, history, academic disciplines, insider/outsider issues, instruction, discovery, methodologies, service, professional development, leadership, and professional organizational structures that impact the HBCU community.
