Ian Smith , BA, CA, is Managing Director of Capita Corporate Finance, a leading adviser on unquoted transactions exclusively recommended by the Institute of Directors. His career spans several senior financial positions within Thompson, the Canadian publishing group, during the '80s and the successful development over many years of Livingstone Guarantee, a London based corporate finance house.
